Device & OS iPhone 14 Pro iOS 17.6.1
After downloading a crag, the topo photos just show placeholder images. The route lines are there, however. After removing the crag from downloaded, the photos are back. App version: 3.0 (8 May 2025) OS: Android 11
The topos in Bosco Scorace are showing only the lines, but not the actual pictures.
Only one parking spot is showing even though there at several parking lots.
In route details it says “Route setter” instead of “First ascent”. I really hope most of the routes on rock have not been set but cleaned and climbed ;)
On the app the ticks appears in order by Date. On desktop it is random it seems. This seems like a new/recent bug to me.
Topos that actually have parking information (i.e. heinimäki nokia) are missing it from the new application Steps to reproduce the behavior 1. Open topo for heinimäki nokia 2. Verify that parking is missing 3. Verify that parking information actually exists i.e. from web app
When zooming into “Viikin pommikalliot”, the sector won’t appear when the general marker disappears.
Topo images do not automatically move sideways when tapping on a route in the list below the topo. Meaning you have to manually scroll sideways to find the selected/highlighted route on the topo. When tapping on a route, the topo should automatically move sideways so that the selected route becomes visible. U sing the latest Android version.
“Downloading” a crag is non functional. PLEASE revert the app until it actually functions offline. I “downloaded” Powerlines, Rocklands today. Most topos (when you click through to an individual route) did not load. So I could see the Topo-grain, the routes, but no actual photos of routes. This makes the use of the app offline (none of Rocklands has service) completely impossible. Please actually DOWNLOAD the crag (at all granularity, topo, and route) when I click “download”. Please make the old version available, this has made route finding a nightmare and the old version worked totally fine. I’ve done QA before I’d be glad to help, and also how did this ever pass QA? Photo attached showing the problem, routes I “visit” while on WiFi and downloaded “live” even though I clicked to download the entire area. You can see a number of routes have no photos attached when I am offline. Again. Please revert the app so it’s usable, I would love to actually see boulders when I’m climbing on an app I am paying for. Screen rec attached, I was told by support my issue couldn’t be replicated, I am extremely doubtful of this fact.
1-2 seconds or more when (at least these situations i found, probably more): Clicking home button from the map view Creating a new crag and clicking save Adding a topo image or climbing pic (and almost all other edit buttons in topo making) trying to open a recommended crag for the first time
If I zoom into the map and select an item, the grab bar at the bottom disappears. After that it’s impossible to get back to the crag view anymore. I can only exit the app altogether and start from scratch.
Description While in the crag details bottom sheet, clicking the share button does nothing. Steps to reproduce While in the crag details bottom sheet, clicking the share button. Nothing happens. Video
I’m not finding a way to navigate to a crag in the new beta. Trapping location just drops me on a map. Using iOS 18 beta
3.1.2(432) Eg. Lately I climbed EasyJet and Asia Otus in Pöllökallio. I marked them through web and can see them only there, not in the apps Ascents list.
After reinstalling the app, only the sections Recently published and Explore Europe are visible on the home screen. Pulling to refresh causes a loading spinner, but the page loads forever. After restarting the app, the Nearby crags section appears. Then, when manually refreshing the page again, Top 10 finally shows. Steps to reproduce: Uninstall and reinstall the 27Crags app. Open the app and go to the Home screen. Observe that only Recently published and Explore Europe are visible. Pull down to refresh → infinite loading. Restart app → Nearby crags appears. Refresh again → Top 10 eventually loads after delay.
I registered an ascent in the app and it shows up in my ascents list on the app but not in the list of sends in route info or in my ascent list on the browser version of 27. This happened to the 2 last problems I have registered ascents on
Beta app has like three different modes that all behave differently. First is the map with the sliding panel. Click a crag or slide the panel open manually, it doesn't get pushed to the stack, using Back throws you to the home page. It does have a working X button though. Compare this to Google Maps, there Back only slides down the panel like expected. Second is the "[n] crags/sectors" panel fully on top of the map. Looks like a separate full page. No closing X button, but another map icon instead, confusing. Again, using Back throws you out to the home page instead of sliding down the panel. Third is the full pages with breadcrumbs, like "Routes" or "Access information". These seem to use stack correctly and Back works as expected, like in other mobile apps. => Fix Back and use stack properly. Another issue is losing context when using X to close the sliding panel completely. For example having "Crag details" open, zoomed into sector level markers. Click X, lose the crag details context and have fun trying to navigate back to it. Or painfully zoom out to get crag markers visible again. => Would be nice if the last opened crag had a dedicated bottom navigation bar icon. Then it would be clear and easy to move between the map view and the full crag pages stack. I'm using Android 14 & gesture Back.
When the app has not been used in a while (couple of hours) and just been running in the background it crashes when you open it up again. The app opens up without loading and then just closes, then it opens up and pick ups where you left it before. This takes under 1-2 seconds. Steps to reproduce: Open the 27 crags app. Do somthing in it, visit a crag(maybe not required) Close app without force shutting it. Wait a couple of hours Open the app again from the Icon. The app will open then close and then open again. Hardware: Samsung Galaxy s24 OS: Android 14 (6.1.75-android14-11)
When I search for something and then go browse the area search input keeps the search word in it. If I tap on back icon “ Steps to reproduce: Put some area name in the search input Tap on the search button on the keyboard You should have area name saved in the input Tap back You are redirected to the main screen with input still having area name Expected result: tapping back cleans the input so you can start searching again
